I've been doing videos for almost fifteen years.

I was in marketing and advertising for ten years before I founded my company, Braveworks Inc., with my husband in 2014.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from other video courses?

Great question! A lot of video courses out there either focus on technicalities, some story fundamentals and/or modules that’s specific to a certain platform (i.e. YouTube, TikTok, IG Reels). The Brave Creators Lab focuses on merging business tactics, branding, confidence and technical fundamentals so you can effectively use videos for your brand elevation and business growth no matter what platform or tech you choose. Platforms can change (are you still using MySpace??), algorithms can change (Reels, anyone?), and any piece of tech and software can have upgrades and get obsolete (pretty soon, you’ll be lining up for the iPhone 300). The goal is for you and your business to be able to strategize, plan and leverage videos so that your content marketing will be so strong and established, it’s practically going to be future-proof.

Will this work for me if I’m not selling expertise, exactly?

Another common and understandable question! “Expertpreneurship” is more of a process rather than a specific group of people. You can be in real estate or in a product-based business and can have a lot of success with the fundamental framework of the program — you will simply learn to assess and learn your value so that you can supercharge your video marketing through authentic authority building that translates well onscreen, and succeed in growing your business organically. People navigate towards genuine connections, yes, but they also trust people who know what they’re talking about.

Is this just a course?

NOPE - you will have access to pre-recorded modules but these work hand-in-hand with the weekly coaching calls and accountability group. Video branding, strategy and production need consistent troubleshooting before it becomes second-nature especially to a DIY creator who’s also in- charge of their business (you go, Brave Boss!). We recognize the need for more careful guidance that’s tailor-fit to each person’s learning phase (so we gotchu no matter what stage you’re in!). There are some fundamentals and areas of learning that’s more tailor-fit for each student, something that we address in the calls. This is why we limit the number of enrollees (50 max at a time) to maintain the quality of coaching and guidance for each student.

Do I need to have specific video equipment pieces and software to enroll?

Got a phone? Good. Internet connection? Fantastic. That’s all you need.

Do I need to be knowledgeable in using video equipment and software to maximize this course?

Know how to shoot videos using your phone? That’s as basic as it gets. You’ll learn all the fundamentals to make your videos look more professional even with your phone (video AND audio included). You also don’t need a bunch of editing knowledge — if you can learn using your phone, that’s all you need. (Plus, our technical and creative director is on-board for some technical consultation as needed! Did we say COMMUNITY?)
